　　Recognition for Legal Services Provided for Children

 

　　2006年7月，国务院妇儿工委成立了由部级领导任组长、各成员单位和相关部门人员、专家组成的15个工作组，开始对31个省、自治区、直辖市执行“两纲”(《妇女发展纲要》和《儿童发展纲要》)情况进行国家级中期评估督导。佟丽华、张志毅、李春生、曹卫、王毅伟、孔维钊、陈锐伟、张雪梅(从右至左)八名律师作为工作组专家成员，参加了18个省的两纲中期评估督导工作。

　　In July 2006, the National Working Committee on Children and Women under the State Council (NWCCW) established 15 working groups headed by ministers and included respective member bodies, relevant parties and experts, to conduct mid-term evaluation and supervision of the implementation of the “Two National Programs” (including the Program for the Development of Chinese Women and National Program of Action for Child Development in China) in 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government.

　　Eight lawyers, including Tong Lihua, Zhang Zhiyi, Li Chunsheng, Cao Wei, Wang Yiwei, Kong Weizhao, Chen Ruiwei and Zhang Xuemei (from right to left), acted as expert members of the working groups, participated in the mid-term evaluation and supervision work in 18 provinces. 

 

　　2006年5月，“首届全国未成年人保护特殊贡献律师表彰大会”在司法部举行。北京张雪梅等24名律师被授予“首届全国未成年人保护特殊贡献律师”荣誉称号。会议由全国律协秘书长邓甲明主持，司法部副部长赵大程，全国政协社会法制委员会副主任肖建章，全国人大常委会委员、内务司委员任茂东，团中央书记处书记卢雍正、中央政法委督导室主任胡增印，国务院妇女儿童工作委员会办公室专职副主任张黎明，全国律协会长于宁，全国律协副会长金山到会为律师颁奖。

　　In May 2006, the “First National Award Ceremony in Honor of Lawyers with Special Contribution in Child Protection” was held at the Ministry of Justice. Zhang Xuemei and other 23 lawyers were honored with the title of “First National Child Protection Lawyers with Special Contribution”. The ceremony was presided over by Deng Jiaming, Secretary-General of All China Lawyers Association, and participants included Zhao Dacheng, Vice-minister of the Ministry of Justice; Xiao Jianzhang, Deputy Director of the Social and Legal Affairs Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Congress; Ren Maodong, member of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress and Committee for Internal and Judicial Affairs of the National People’s Congress; Lu Yongzheng, Secretary of Secretariat of China Youth Communist League Central Committee; Hu Zengyin, Director of the supervision office of the Political and Judiciary Commission under the Central Committee of the CPC; Zhang Liming, Deputy Director of General Office of the National Working Committee on Children and Women under the State Council; Yu Ning, president of All China Lawyers Association and Jin Shan, Vice- President of ACLA presented the awards to the lawyers.

 

　　2008年12月，全国律师协会第二次表彰未成年人保护特殊贡献律师，王毅伟等十名律师获第二届“全国保护未成年人特殊贡献律师”荣誉称号。原全国人大常委会副委员长、中国关心下一代工作委员会主任顾秀莲、司法部副部长赵大程、全国人大教科文卫委副主任任茂东、国务院妇女儿童工作委员会办公室常务副主任苏凤杰、团中央权益部部长王雪峰、中国法律援助基金会秘书长周院生、司法部律师公证工作指导司副巡视员丘征、中华全国律师协会会长于宁等领导为获得此项荣誉的律师颁奖。

　　In December 2008, in the “Second National Award Ceremony in Honor of Lawyers with Special Contribution in Child Protection”, Wang Yiwei and other 9 lawyers were honored with the title of “Second National Child Protection Lawyers with Special Contribution”. Attendees included Gu Xiulian, the former Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress and the Director of Working Committee for the Care of the Next Generation; Zhao Dacheng, Vice-minister of the Ministry of Justice; Ren Maodong, Deputy Director of Education Science Culture and Public Health Committee of the NPC; Su Fengjie, Executive Deputy Director of the General Office of the National Working Committee on Children and Women under the State Council; Wang Xuefeng, Section Chief of Rights Department of China Youth Communist League Central Committee; Zhou Yuansheng, Secretary-General of China Legal Aid Foundation; Qiu Zheng, Associated Counsel of Division for Guiding lawyers and Notarization Work; Yu Ning, president of All China Lawyers Association and many other leaders.
