研究会成立——北京市法学会农村法治研究会工作纪实

Beijing City Rural Areas Rule of Law Research Association Successfully Established
 

　　北京市法学会农村法治研究会(以下简称“研究会”)是经北京市法学会批准成立的专门机构。该会成立于2009年11月8日，已发展了具有广泛代表性的会员，包括来自高等院校的专业研究人员、专门研究农村问题的政府部门和立法部门的代表、新闻界的精英、律师、法官等司法实务工作者、基层农村法律工作者等。

　　The Beijing City Rural Areas Rule of Law Research Association (referred to below as ‘Research Association’) is a specialized organization that has been created with approval of the Beijing City Law Society. Founded on November 8, 2009, the Research Association has reached a wide range of people involved in rural area rule of law, including professional researchers from top schools, professional representatives from government and policy-making agencies, reporters from the world of media, attorneys, judges, and other practitioners in the field of law.

　　北京青少年法律援助与研究中心主任、北京致诚农民工法律援助与研究中心主任、北京市人大代表佟丽华任研究会会长。研究会以维护农民权益、推动农村法治为己任，致力于就农村热点问题开展实证性研究，并积极推动研究成果的立法政策转化。此外，研究会还期望通过对执法、司法实务工作者的专业培训，以及对农民、基层法律服务工作者的普法宣传等多种方式全面推动北京农村法治化发展，为首都和谐稳定建设及国家涉农立法政策完善做出积极贡献。

　　The leader of the Research Association is Tong Lihua, who also serves as Director of the Beijing Children’s Legal Aid and Research Center, Director of the Beijing Zhicheng Migrant Worker Legal Aid and Research Center, and Representative in the National People’s Congress from Beijing City. The Research Association works to protect the writes of rural citizens and sees it as its duty to support the extension of rule of law in rural areas. It focuses on carrying out practical research on important topics in rural law and holding professional training seminars for workers in the field. By publicizing our work we hope to foster more complete recognition and acceptance of rule of law in rural areas, a contribution to our nation’s shared goal of a more peaceful and harmonious society.
